*Takes the shot* Are you happy now?
God damn, what will it take to liven you up princess.
That it does. But you’re seriously giving that advice to a student?
No. [Amelia smirks] That’s the advice I would give someone of the age of 21.
It’s okay, I happen to love coke! But thanks, I hope so too - I like to think I’m a pretty positive person.
Just take the damn shot girl. [Amelia raises the shot glass to her lips and downs it].
Not relaxing? [Takes a sip of his own beer, before shifting to face Amelia.] What does one come to a bar for, if not to relax?
I could think of a million other things right now that would be more relaxing than being here. [Amelia took a sip before lowering it back to the bar and raising one eyebrow] What exactly do you think most people come to a bar for if not to relax William?
I guess whatever works for you.
But…hypothetically, if I were 21, what would you suggest?
Get so drunk you end up waking up in some unknown park with your shoes missing and no idea how you got there. I dunno, that seems like fun to me.
Ummm, usually vodka, you?
Personally, I am a fan of beer but considering the occasion. [Amelia stands up from the table and walks to the bar, after a few minutes she comes back with tequila shots and two vodkas with coke as mix-ins]. So I don’t care if you don’t like coke, you’ll deal. [Amelia laughs as she hands a shot to the young girl] Here’s to hope for long healthy lives.
I don’t think I’ve ever met a teacher that was so candid with her students.
To be honest, I don’t even know how I actually really became a teacher but hey, the kids love me.
Well then why are you trying to make me follow them? You’re sending me mixed signals here, Professor.
Because I am the adult here and I have the power to potentially ruin your life. Plus, I wasn’t making you follow rules. I was trying to teach you the manners of listening to someone.
I know I am, I just need to take my mind off things.
Well since you are here, may as well keep me company. What do you drink?
That’s got to be breaking at least one rule. At least.
Never really been the one for rules. Unlucky for you.
